Last night at church, Wayne Holley, Pastor Search Committee Chairman requested that all who are available & able come tomorrow (Friday, October 14) around 3:30-4:00 PM to help unload the U-Haul Bro. Mark is bringing as he moves into the parsonage. Thanks in advance for your assistance!!!!!!!

It's official. Yesterday NZBC voted to extend a call to Bro. Mark Presswood as our new Pastor. Bro. Mark accepted the call. He will be moving here around October 14 & will begin his ministry at NZBC on Sunday, October 16, 2016. We're looking forward to this new part of our journey!!!! Bro. Mark's wife, Deanie, will be back & forth until their youngest daughter, Bekah, graduates & Deanie's private school is out in May. Then Deanie will move here. Welcome to the Presswood Family!!!!!!! Just a little FYI - Deanie is a daughter of our own Mrs. Dean Sowell!!!!

What an awesome weekend we had!!!!!!! Bro. Mark Presswood was here in view of a call as the new Pastor of NZBC. Saturday night he preached a wonderful message giving us great insight from God's Word about what a pastor should be like. He then shared his testimony during the question & answer time. A finger food fellowship followed. Yesterday morning Bro. Mark again preached another amazing message from God's Word from 1 John 1:1-4 about joy. A potluck fellowship lunch followed. If you were out of town or had to miss, a CD was made of both messages. If you would like to have one, please let Bro. Gary know so he can get it to you. This Senior Adult Sunday, October 2, at the conclusion of the AM service we'll vote on whether to extend a call to Bro. Mark. Please be in PRAYER about how God wants you to vote. The vote will be by printed ballot of the MEMBERS of NZBC who are in attendance. Our Constitution & Bylaws does not allow absentee votes. If NZBC extends a call to Bro. Mark, hopefully we'll know later that day if Bro. Mark feels led to accept the call. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY, PRAY for God's divine will to be done & His name to be glorified in the life of NZBC & the life of Bro. Mark & his family.
